Gandhi Jayanti 2024

 Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on October 2, 2024, to honor the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, a pivotal figure in India's struggle for independence. The program commenced with the lighting of lamp, symbolizing the illumination of truth and non-violence that Gandhi advocated. Following this, a series of devotional songs, including Ram Dhun and bhajans, were performed by both teachers and students. In addition to the musical tributes, a skit was presented, depicting key moments from Gandhi's life and his philosophy of peaceful resistance.



Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration 2024

 Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated on September 11, 2024, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's speech at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. The speech is known for its opening words, "Sisters and Brothers of America". The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the celebration of knowledge. The principal warmly welcomed all attendees, emphasizing the importance of Vivekananda's message of unity and brotherhood among all humanity. Students showcased their talents through a series of bhajans, skits, and dance performances,  reflecting the core values of love, respect, and harmony that Swami Vivekananda advocated. The program concluded with an inspiring speech from the honorable chief guest, who reiterated the significance of universal brotherhood in today's world. The Universal Brotherhood's goal is to unite people who wish to work towards the transcendence of the spirit, regardless of belief, nationality, gender and economic status.

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, our school premises were filled with joy and devotion as teachers, students, and their parents gathered to celebrate this significant festival. The day began with a heartfelt puja ceremony, where offerings were made to Lord Ganesha, symbolizing the removal of obstacles and the arrival of prosperity. The atmosphere was enriched with melodious bhakti songs, fostering a sense of community and spiritual connection.

TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION


"A teacher presents the past, reveals the present
 and creates the future"
        Teachers’ Day  celebrated with zeal and great enthusiasm in the school. Students of class XII played the role of teachers on this day. The teachers and students gathered in the auditorium  in order to celebrate  Teachers’ Day. The Principal of the school presided over the function, he light up a candle in front of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan's photograph to pay him homage. Then the Principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledged their sincere efforts. He delivered a valuable speech on Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and explained the importance of Teachers’ Day. Some students also expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by giving short speeches. Students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love and respect towards the teachers on this day. The cultural show incorporated poems and songs.










BHAJAN SANYA AT RADHAGOVIND TEMPLE



Bhajan Sandhya was organised at RadhaGovinda temple on 31st August 2024. Teachers along with the general public sang bhajans, generating a deep connection to the divine and spiritual realm by focusing their minds on the sacred sounds and vibrations.

Krishna Janmashtami, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with much splendor and joy on August 26, 2024. The festivities commenced with devotional Krishna bhajans, setting a reverent tone for the day. The event featured a vibrant dance competition and a delightful segment where the tiny tots of our school adorned themselves in the attire of Radha and Krishna, infusing the celebration with a touch of traditional and charming ambience.
