UNIVERSAL BROTHEHOOD DAY CELEBRATION- 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Diglipur, celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and fervour. The programme was graced by Smt. Arpona Roy, Up-Adhyaksha,Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman as the Chief Guest, Shri Manoj Paul, SMC Chairman, as the Special Guest, along with the members of the SMC.

The programme began with a welcome speech by the Principal, followed by speeches by students and teachers highlighting the message and significance of Universal Brotherhood. The celebration also featured a variety of cultural presentations, including dance, skit, songs and a special presentation in the get-up of Swami Vivekananda.

The programme also included the prize distribution ceremony for various competitions conducted in connection with the celebration. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, teachers, students and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

The celebration served as a meaningful occasion to spread the ideals of universal brotherhood, unity and harmony among the students and the school community.

 INDPENDENCE DAY - 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Diglipur, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15 August 2026.

The celebration began with a Prabhat Pheri, in which students and teachers participated enthusiastically. The procession was accompanied by patriotic slogans creating a vibrant atmosphere of national pride.

The main programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and an impressive march past by the students. Students, teachers and guests paid tribute to the freedom fighters and remembered their sacrifices.

The programme included speeches by students, the Principal and a teacher, highlighting the significance of Independence Day, citizens’ responsibilities and the values of unity and patriotism. The Chief Guest, Shri R. Alagar Swami, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad North & Middle Andaman, addressed the gathering and spoke on education, discipline and nation-building.

The celebration also featured patriotic songs and dance performances by the students, showcasing their talent, confidence and love for the nation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, inspiring everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism and national responsibility.
